The A2X Team feature allows you to group together staff members who work on similar accounts. Then rather than granting access to one user at a time, you can give access to the entire team.

Within Teams, different roles provide different control and access. Here is an overview of the roles within Teams.

Team Captain

Team Captain controls team activities, including inviting users, assigning or revoking Team Admin status, and overseeing accesses.

Roles and Responsibilities

Roles and Abilities:

  • Invite Users: Team Captains can directly invite other users to join the team for collaborative work.

  • Assign or Revoke Team Admin Status: They can assign or revoke the Team Admin role, which manages team organization.

  • Link or Unlink Users: Team Captains can invite or remove team members from the team.

  • Initiate Requests to account admins: They can send a request to A2X account admins to grant access account access to the team, simplifying granting user access.

  • Disband the Team: Only Team Captains can choose to disband the team.

Scope and Restrictions:

  1. Unlink the Team Captain: The Team Captain's role remains constant and cannot be removed from a team. However, the A2X account admin can remove a team from their account, thereby removing the team captain's access to the A2X account.

  2. Revoke Team Captaincy: Their position as Team Captain cannot be revoked unless they opt to disband the team.

Team Admin

Team Admins can support the Team Captains, and have the ability to link or unlink users, particularly when involving account admin access, which simplifies user management and enhances communication, leading to streamlined collaborations.

Roles and Abilities:

  1. Invite Users: Team Admins can extend invitations, welcoming new members to the team.

  2. Link or Unlink Users: Team Admins can invite or remove team members from the team.

  3. Initiate Requests to account admins: They can send a request to A2X account admins to grant access account access to the team, simplifying granting user access.

Scope and Restrictions:

  1. Assign or Revoke Team Admin Status: They cannot assign or revoke the Team Admin role, which manages team organization.

  2. Disband the Team: Team Admins cannot disband a team.

  3. Unlink the Team Captain: The Team Captain cannot be unlinked from the team.

Team Member

Team Members can link their accounts to the team if they are the A2X account admin. This feature simplifies access and ensures a cohesive collaborative environment. Team Members can unlink themselves from the team, providing flexibility in managing team associations.

Roles and Abilities:

  1. Link Accounts: Team Members who are A2X account admins, can seamlessly link A2X accounts with the team.

  2. Unlink Themselves: They have the autonomy to detach themselves from the team, maintaining flexibility.

Scope and Restrictions:

  1. Invite Users: Team Members cannot add or remove users in the team.

  2. Manage Team Settings: They cannot assign or revoke the Team Admin role.

  3. Unlink Other Members: They cannot unlink any user from the team other than themselves.

  4. Initiate Requests to account admins: Team members cannot send a request to A2X account admins to grant access account access to the team. This permission is only available for Team Captains and Team Admins.
