Now that you're up and running with A2X, here are a few features that'll help you get the most out of your account.

Turn on auto-posting

You don't have to manually post every payout. Turn on auto-posting and A2X will post your entries to your accounting software automatically as they become available. Go to Settings > Automation to switch it on.

Filter your payouts and mappings

Filters are about to become your best friend. You can filter on both the mapping page and the payouts page, which makes it easy to quickly map similar transactions, find a specific payout, or troubleshoot a reconciliation.

Import your historical data

A2X isn't just for new payouts. Depending on your plan, you can pull in months or even years of past data, so your books are complete going back, not just going forward. Great for tax prep or catching up on prior months. Go to Settings > History to fetch more.

Using A2X Cost of Goods Sold

A2X can also post your COGS, so your P&L shows real margins instead of guesses. Enter your SKU costs into A2X using one of our integration methods, and A2X will calculate the value of goods sold for each period alongside your sales. Get started in Settings > Cost of Goods Sold.

Run your A2X reports

A2X has built-in reports that let you tie your numbers back to what Amazon or Shopify shows on their end. Open the Account Reconciliation report and you'll see every payout matched against your bank deposits to the cent. It's how you know your books are right, not just close. You'll find them in the Reports dropdown in your top navigation.

Add more sales channels

A2X connects to Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, and PayPal. Each channel gets its own payout summaries, posted and reconciled separately. To add another channel, click the + in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Adjust your notifications

Decide how and when A2X keeps you posted. Pick a daily or weekly digest email, or turn on immediate alerts for updates and errors. You can even set different preferences per account, so you're only getting the detail you want for each channel. Go to Settings > Notifications to set yours.

Invite your accountant or bookkeeper

If you work with an accountant or bookkeeper, you can invite them to your A2X account so they can review your mapping, check your entries, or manage the setup themselves. Go to Settings > Users to add them.

See what's new in A2X

A2X is always shipping new features and improvements. Click the New button in your top navigation to see the latest, and keep an eye out for the red dot that appears whenever there's something new.
