What are A2X Notifications?
Notifications are designed to help you manage your A2X account(s). Notification Settings are set at a user level and can always be viewed in A2X and optionally via email.
There are two categories of Notifications:
Updates
Error
Setting up your email Notifications
Email Notification Settings are set at a user level and are therefore accessed from the user menu. Please note that all your notifications will be displayed within A2X, this settings page is for email notifications only.
Click the “Notification Settings” option under the user menu and you will be redirected to the main notification settings page.
Setting up your Notification rules (default settings)
At the top of your Notification Settings page, you will see your default Notification Rules. These rules apply to all future A2X accounts you create.
Digest – A menu with three options: Daily, Weekly, & Disable.
If you select Weekly, then every week, A2X will send an email summarizing all updates and errors for that account (similarly for Daily).
If you select Disable, then A2X will not send any digest email.
Updates – A menu with two options: Yes & No.
If you select Yes, A2X will send an email for every update.
If you select No, A2X will not send an email for updates.
What are updates?
New Settlement Imported: A new settlement of X amount has been successfully imported.
New Invoice Posted: A new invoice of X amount has been posted to accounting system.
New Subscription: A new subscription has been processed.
Subscription History Fetch Complete (Shopify only): The fetch of payouts, triggered by subscribing, has completed for shop store name.
VAT Report Imported (Amazon only): The VAT report has been successfully imported.
Errors – A menu with two options: Yes & No.
If you select Yes, A2X will send an email for every error.
If you select No, A2X will not send an email for errors.Errors – Defaults to No. If you select “Yes,” A2X will send an email for every error.
What are errors?
Settlement Failed to Post: There was an issue posting the settlement of X amount to accounting system. Check for missing mappings.
Missing Costs for SKU: The settlement of amount is missing costs. Please add the missing costs.
Connection Lost: The connection to sales channel has been lost. Please check your connections and reconnect your account.
Accounting System Connection Lost: The connection to accounting system has been lost. Please check your connections and reconnect your account.
Strong Authentication Required: 3DS Authentication is required to finalize the payment of the latest invoice. Please complete the authentication.
Any new A2X accounts you add will automatically inherit these default settings.
Add customized notifications (override at the account level)
If you have accounts already in A2X before setting these rules, their existing notification preferences will remain as previously set, and can be viewed and modified by expanding the "Add customized notifications" section below.
The multi-select checkbox if selected, will allow you to update the notification settings for multiple accounts. If this box is selected you will be able to perform bulk updates.
Note: By default, these options will follow the Notification Rules you set at the top of the page. If you choose to add customized notifications, those settings will override the rules for the specific account(s) selected.

Viewing Notifications
The Notifications themselves are accessed via a bell icon in the header.
Main notifications list: View all the latest notifications (for all accounts).
The numbers in the screenshot are explained below:
For multichannel users, the "Accounts" feature to view the notifications for a specific account.
The “View Settings” button will redirect you to the Notification Rules page.
The “Load more” button will allow you to load/view more notifications
With these enhancements, you can now fine-tune your notifications across all A2X accounts or customize them on a per-account basis—ensuring you only receive the updates you need.
