An Amazon merchant can sell in one or multiple Amazon regions and on one or multiple marketplaces within a region.
Here are some of the Amazon regions and their marketplaces:
North America Region:
United States (.com)
Canada (.ca)
Mexico (.mx)
Brazil (.br)
Europe Region:
United Kingdom (.uk)
Belgium (.be)
France (.fr)
Germany (.de)
Ireland (.ie)
Italy (.it)
Netherlands (.nl)
Poland (.pl)
Spain (.es)
Sweden (.se)
Asia-Pacific Region:
Australia (.au)
India (.in)
Japan (.jp)
Singapore (.sg)
Middle East Region:
United Arab Emirates (.ae)
Saudi Arabia (.sa)
For example, if you sell in the Amazon North America region, you could sell on one marketplace within that region, such as Amazon.com, or you could sell on multiple marketplaces within that region, such as Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. Likewise, if you sell in the Amazon Europe region, you could sell on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de or both. You could sell on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, and Amazon.fr (and even Amazon.it and Amazon.es too!).
Important notes: A separate A2X for Amazon account is required for each region in which you sell. The marketplaces within each region (noted above) will be detected automatically, and those marketplace settlements will appear in A2X. However, if any of your marketplaces within a region have different Amazon Seller IDs, a separate A2X account will be required for each Seller ID.
For example, if you sell on Amazon.co.jp (Japan) and Amazon.sg (Singapore) - both marketplaces are within the Asia-Pacific region - but if you have different Amazon Seller IDs for these two marketplaces, this will require two A2X for Amazon accounts.
