Shopify has introduced a new feature focusing on Store credits, allowing your customers to hold a balance within their account that they can use towards future purchases.

This new feature simplifies your refund process by eliminating the need for cash refunds or issuing new gift cards each time there’s a return. We're excited to announce the integration of Shopify store credits into our platform.

How It Works in Shopify

Account Requirement

Customers must have a store account to access store credit, which can be applied during checkout from the store backend.

Payment Option

When making a purchase, customers will have the option to use store credit as a payment method.

Seamless Integration with A2X

Once a transaction is completed using store credit in Shopify, the data seamlessly flows into A2X, providing users with a clear overview of their financial transactions.

Understanding Your Store Credit in A2X

Payouts Table and Review

Store credit transactions are accurately displayed in the payouts table and review sections of A2X.

Mapping Page

Users can easily categorize store credit transactions under "Gateway Transactions" in the mapping page, streamlining the accounting process.

Finance Summary Report

The A2X finance summary report accurately reflects store credit transactions, ensuring consistency with Shopify data.

With the integration of store credit into our platform, we aim to provide our users with a seamless and transparent experience from Shopify to A2X. If you have any questions or need further assistance, our support team is here to help!
