From time to time, you may receive a message from our system advising the file you are trying to upload to the Shopify Reconciliation tool is too large.

We currently support *.csv files of up to 32MB in size. If your file is larger than 32MB, it will be necessary for you to reduce the file size and try again.

The easiest way to reduce the file size is to reduce the date range you export from Shopify.

For example, you may be trying to upload a file for the month of August, and it may be 40MB in size. This file for the month of August represents 31 days from 1 August to 31 August.

To fix the problem, we suggest exporting two or more files from Shopify with shorter date ranges and preparing two reconciliations. For example, you could create the first file from 1 August to 16 August and the second file from 17 August to 31 August. Assuming these files are individually less than 32MB, the upload process will work.

You can run two reconciliation reports to view the results for the month of August 2023.
