What is the A2X Certification?

A course designed to give Accountants and Bookkeepers the knowledge and confidence they need to get the most out of A2X for their ecommerce clients. They can complete eight modules at their own pace to become A2X Certified! Each module includes on-demand videos, written text, support articles, and quizzes to test their knowledge.

Why should I get certified?

  • To gain a thorough understanding of how to use A2X

  • To keep up-to-date and skilled with new features

  • To unlock the full power of A2X to automate manual ecommerce accounting.

  • To get an A2X certification badge to promote your expertise to potential clients.

  • To meet the prerequisites to become an A2X Bronze Partner and to list your practice on the A2X Directory.

Who is the A2X Certification for?

Any Accountant or Bookkeeper can do the A2X Certification Course. You do not need to be in the Partner Program to do this course.

How much does the course cost?

The course is free.

How do I get started with the A2X Certification?

Head to https://a2x.teachable.com/ and click ‘Get certified’ if you do not already, you will need to create a teachable account. If you do have a teachable account, you can log in and select the A2X Certification course.

How many licenses are available for each Accounting or Bookkeeper practice?

Unlimited members of one practice can complete the certification. You can use this course as part of your staff onboarding process.

Do I need to use the same email I use for A2X accounts?

Although this is recommended, you don’t need to use the same email address. A2X accounts are not linked to the course. It is important you remember which email address you signed up with in case you need us to look at your course.

I have completed the course. Why have I not received a certified badge?

We cannot email you your badge if you have not opted in to receive emails from A2X. If you complete the course and have not received your badge. Please email contact@a2xaccounting.com with the email address you completed the course, and we’ll send your badge.

If I get a quiz question wrong, will I fail the course?

You need to get 80% on the course quizzes to pass the module. You have two opportunities to pass each module. If you fail both attempts. A team member will check you have watched the course videos and reset your quiz for two more attempts.

How often is the A2X certification updated?

Every time there is a major product release, the A2X certification is updated. You do not need to complete the new modules to remain certified. However, it is recommended that you do.
