Many e-commerce sellers use Amazon FBA to fulfill orders for sales made through other (non-Amazon) e-commerce channels. For example, if you sell on Etsy, eBay or Magento and use Amazon FBA to ship your customer orders - A2X can help you to track and understand those shipments.

In this article, we will cover the two areas where A2X can help: Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and FBA fees.

FBA Fees

In the Accounts and Taxes screen you can map the FBA fees for various types of transactions. By default, all FBA feeds are grouped together, but you can expand the detailed transactions by clicking the little orange plus symbol to identify the Amazon and non-Amazon FBA fees. You can see an example in the screenshot below:

If you choose a separate account from your chart of accounts for each type of fee - then you can track the costs for Amazon and non-amazon FBA shipments in your Income statement or Profit and Loss report.

Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

A2X can calculate Cost of Goods Sold for non-Amazon sales channels.

Enable this function in Settings > Cost of Goods Sold, and reduce time spent getting these numbers into your accounting system.

Once enabled, the non-Amazon shipments that we detect will be included in your COGS summary when sent to your accounting system. You can select a different account to track these shipments.
