A2X will consolidate your transactions into a daily summary. If your orders have been paid through multiple payment gateways, similar to the example below, your orders will still be consolidated into the one payout file, with the movement through each payment gateway being sent to a clearing account.

Using daily summaries ensures reconciliations are straightforward. Payment gateways often have different payout frequencies so daily transactions ensure that your payment gateway clearing accounts will be up to date when funds are received from your gateway provider.

Using the example above Stripe may pay you on a daily basis but you only request payment from PayPal once a week. If you only had the transactions summarised weekly then your Stripe clearing account balance would be inaccurate until that week's summary was posted to your accounting system.
