Step 1: Enable A2X for B2B
To begin using A2X for B2B, head to the B2B Settings page in A2X and toggle the feature on.
Once enabled, you’ll be prompted to reconnect your Shopify store to ensure A2X has the necessary permissions to sync B2B order data and manage order updates.
Step 2: Approve Access
Click the “Approve Access” button when prompted.
This step is required to grant A2X updated permissions so it can support B2B functionality.
Step 3: Choose Your Access Level
Depending on your Shopify role:
Select “I have access” if you are the Shopify administrator or have the necessary privileges
Select “I need to request access” if you do not have access or run into connection issues
Step 4: Reconnect to Shopify
Your store name will appear pre-filled. Simply click “Reconnect to Shopify” to proceed.
Step 5: Grant Required Permissions
You must allow A2X the ability to:
Read customer information
Edit orders in Shopify
(This permission is required for A2X to mark Shopify orders as paid if the 'Mark as Paid' setting is enabled)
Click “Update” to finalise the connection.
Once the re-authentication is complete, you can proceed with tagging B2B orders and syncing them as individual invoices.
