You can set up the account and tax mapping to your accounting software so imports will arrive already coded and ready to reconcile. This saves you a lot of time in the process of recording your eBay Managed Payments transactions.
Tip: To get the full benefit of Accounts and Taxes mapping, wait for payouts to come in after you connect your account to eBay and your accounting software. It's best to have a variety of payouts for this feature to draw from.
The Accounts and Taxes feature allows you to map your eBay transactions to your accounting. It does this by accessing your Chart of Accounts or by creating accounts specific to eBay transactions directly from A2X in your accounting system.
Where to go?
You can either select the Accounts & Taxes tab in the top navigation.
Or from the main dashboard, you can click Customize accounting and taxes:
How to let A2X create accounts:
You can create accounts in your accounting software right from A2X as suggested by A2X:
Just select ‘Save Mappings’ and these accounts will be created for you within your accounting software.
How to choose from your own Chart of Accounts?
If you already have accounts in your accounting software that you would like to use, instead of creating A2X default custom accounts, then:
- Access your accounts in your accounting software by clicking the x:
2. Then click on the dropdown to choose the account:
Save your mappings!
Finally, always remember to click the Save Mapping button at the bottom of the page.
Your account mapping will now apply to your payouts consistently.
Note: If you create accounts in your accounting software with A2X open, refresh your Cache in Settings and Connections.
How to apply tax codes?
Like accounts, A2X accesses the tax codes in your accounting system. Simply click on the "X" to get to the dropdown list of your tax codes.

Once you have mapped your accounts and taxes for eBay transactions, you are ready to review and import your first Invoice to your accounting system.
If you make mapping changes, be sure to save your mappings again.
